Berlin and Trappendorf...

...a little village in the middle of nowhere in Germany. Over the years I've purchased much music related equipment from Thomman Music situated here in Trappendorf.

Berlin; what a place! I could have spent a few days there and it would not have been enough. I arrived in the centre at approx 8am and found a coffee house where I treated myself to a 'German' breakfast. I then wandered off with my camera to the Brandenburg Gate and on my way there I took pics of the impressive buildings etc. (Pics to follow, but when I don't know because by the time it comes to parking up I only have the energy to crawl into my wonderful hammock)

Trappendorf is where I am at this moment and my internet connection is privided by The Thomann Music Company. The population of Trappendorf is 169. Thomman has over seven hundred emplyees! It's difficult to convey how impressive this big company is in a little village. After writing this post I will take a few pictures which may go a little way in showing how impressive an outfit this is! Oh and I almost forgot to add, I've purchased the gear to go disc-jockying when I reach my destination.

When leaving Trappendorf I head to Prague, which is 320 kilometres from here. I'm ahead of time for my journey and I might just spend a few days getting aquainted with the surroundings as I'm told it's one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

Note: I should have mentioned it before but the fuel consumption of my Transit is amazing. I filled up just outside Amsterdam on Sunday evening (137.9 euro per ltr) 522 miles later the needle was still nowhere near empty! Last night I filled her up again just outside Leipzig (149.9 euro per Ltr!) which should take me to Prague and beyond.

That's all for now folks XX to you all.
