...me down with a feather!

I have two bits of good news today. One, I got a phone call this afternoon to say my beloved camera has been repaired. It's going to cost me £187 but it's a snip compared to buying a new camera, which I could definitely not afford to do. Second, I've sold my first book on Amazon, woopppeee! That means I only have to sell another sixty-four and a half books and I've paid for the repair of my camera.

I spent the afternoon in the delightful company of a young Swedish woman (Hold on, don't get too excited!) rehearsing for tomorrow nights open night at the Black Olive. We have been 'grooming' her for over a month to get her up to sing a number. She has a wonderful voice and will go down a storm. I will accompany her on the guitar. I know she will be fine, I just hope my Alzheimer's doesn't play up and I forget the notes! I think after her performance tomorrow night we won't be able to drag  her off the stage in the future :-)
